Sometimes berry smoothies can be a little tart no? This one has ALL the sweetness from a handful of dried apricots (no need to soak them first – I’ve tested both versions). The dried apricots also add the thickness you need, so this one’s a bananaless smoothie too.
Just the thing to slip slowly on a gentle Sunday morning, followed by a cup of tea or three.

Sweet Apricot and Summer Berry Smoothie
1 handful summer berries (I used a frozen mix of black and redcurrants, blackberries and raspberries)
5 dried apricots
400ml almond milk
