This is what I made last week when it was hot hot hot outside and I was poorly. I needed a burst of vitamins and sugars in the form of something refreshing and cooling and this hit all the right spots. REALLY good with the almond milk, EXTRA filling with the oats. I think I’ve said this in every smoothie post, but this is my new favourite 🙂
Blackcurrant, Banana and Almond Milk Smoothie
1 frozen banana, chopped
1 handful frozen blackcurrants
1 tablespoon oats
around 250ml almond milk
- Blend the fruit and oats first, then add the almond milk until you’ve got the consistency you like.
