Last week’s meal plan went largely to plan, although we went out on Saturday night to a curry house we’ve been meaning to try for ages. I had a perfect, generous portion of prawn tikka which came on a bed of onions – no sauce, which was very welcome after too many gungy curries in the past. And so we’ve still got a portion each of chicken pie for this week. The veggie pasta was particularly delicious made with ‘real’ pasta – and cheap as chips! Monday – Jacket Potatoes With Stilton and Mushrooms (or baked beans for non-cheese eaters)
Tuesday – Chicken Pie for him (I’m out)
Wednesday – Chicken Pie for me (he’s out)
Thursday – Frozen Fish and Chips
Friday – Vegetable Soup
Sat – HOLIDAY!!! Hence yesterday’s ‘no food left’ scenario, and no meal planning next Monday – have a good two weeks!
